Worked on the funky-station/funky-station repository to enhance accessibility within the Prayer System by introducing the UsableByAtheists component property. This backend feature, developed in C#, allowed prayable entities to be used by atheist users, removing previous restrictions based on religious affiliation and broadening the system’s inclusivity. The implementation involved disciplined, commit-driven changes that minimized risk to existing flows while expanding the potential user base. By focusing on accessibility-driven design in a game development context, the work established a foundation for future inclusivity features and demonstrated a methodical approach to extending functionality without introducing regressions or disrupting established user experiences.
