Worked on advancing localization for the chimple/cuba repository by updating the app’s user interface translations to Portuguese, focusing on internationalization and localization best practices. Utilized XML and integrated Weblate to manage the translation workflow, resulting in 834 out of 1147 strings—about 72.7 percent—being translated. This update laid the foundation for full Portuguese support in future development cycles and aimed to broaden the app’s accessibility for Portuguese-speaking users. The work involved a single, well-documented commit that detailed both the translation progress and the integration process, demonstrating a methodical approach to expanding the app’s reach through structured localization efforts.
