Worked on the internetarchive/openlibrary repository to deliver a new Librarian role within the platform’s privilege structure, focusing on front end development using HTML. The feature expanded role-based access control by introducing librarian-specific permissions and updating the navigation header to make librarian access more discoverable. UI elements were integrated to streamline librarian workflows and improve governance, aligning with compliance requirements. The work centered on feature expansion rather than bug fixes, emphasizing secure access and clear privilege delineation. By enhancing the user interface and privilege management, the changes supported better onboarding and operational efficiency for librarian users within the OpenLibrary system.
