Focused on improving the containerd configuration process, the developer used bash scripting to refine the sed regex, ensuring the correct root path is automatically uncommented and updated across distributed nodes. By adding a containerd restart step, the changes took effect immediately without manual intervention. These targeted DevOps improvements reduced startup failures and streamlined onboarding for new nodes, with validation performed on live clusters to confirm consistent application of new containerd data-root paths and maintainability.
