Worked on the Vigtu/langflow repository to deliver a security-focused feature upgrade by implementing mutual TLS (mTLS) authentication for MongoDB Atlas connections. Leveraged Python and MongoDB expertise to extend the backend, adding UI fields for enabling mTLS and managing client certificates. This approach reduced credential exposure by introducing certificate-based access and mutual authentication, thereby enhancing the platform’s compliance and security posture. Demonstrated proficiency in backend development and security by integrating mTLS support directly into the MongoDB component, ensuring that database connections are both robust and aligned with modern security standards. No bugs were fixed during this period.
