Worked on enhancing the Linux kernel driver for wireless hardware by adding 160MHz beamformee capability to the MT7922 device in the torvalds/linux repository. Focused on updating the HE capability element configuration within the mt76 mt7921 driver, this work enabled improved beamforming performance for compatible wireless devices. Leveraged expertise in C programming, driver development, and wireless communication to deliver a targeted feature that directly benefits high-throughput wireless scenarios. The engineering approach emphasized clear business value by addressing advanced wireless requirements, and the contribution demonstrated depth in low-level kernel development and a strong understanding of wireless protocol enhancements within the Linux ecosystem.
