Worked on the aws/amazon-vpc-cni-k8s repository to enhance deployment flexibility for enterprise Kubernetes environments by implementing override repository support in the AWS VPC CNI Helm chart. Introduced an overrideRepository option, enabling users to specify custom ECR or private registry images for CNI, init, and node agent components. Updated Helm template helpers and documentation in Markdown and YAML to ensure correct image path construction when an override is provided. This feature addressed the needs of organizations operating in air-gapped or private environments, improving security and ease of adoption. The work demonstrated proficiency in cloud infrastructure, Helm, and Kubernetes configuration management.
