During February 2025, Ta Quoc Y worked on the taquocy/e-commerce-for-test-automation repository, focusing on enhancing automated test coverage for key e-commerce user journeys. He refactored the test_home.py module to adopt class-level setup and teardown, improving test reliability and maintainability. Using Python and Selenium, he expanded assertions for basket and cart actions and introduced navigation validation for sign-in and register pages. This approach strengthened end-to-end validation without addressing critical defects, instead prioritizing structural improvements and assertion enrichment. His work emphasized robust test automation and unit testing practices, enabling faster feedback cycles and reducing release risk through improved test structure.
