Worked on stabilizing the core validation path in the sdv-dev/SDV repository, focusing on ensuring correct metadata handling after codebase rebases. Addressed a bug in the _validate_regex_format method within the single_table base, updating the logic to properly access metadata and aligning unit tests to reflect these changes. This backend development effort, implemented in Python, improved the reliability of data validation processes and reduced noise in continuous integration pipelines. By refining validation logic and strengthening test coverage, the work contributed to more robust CI workflows and minimized downstream risk, emphasizing careful attention to data integrity and maintainability within the project.
