Worked on process improvement for the Azure/azure-storage-azcopy repository by migrating the bug reporting workflow to GitHub’s ISSUE_TEMPLATE format. Focused on enhancing issue management, the developer introduced a dedicated bug report template with a clear name and description, reducing ambiguity and improving the reproducibility of reported issues. This change, implemented using Markdown and GitHub Actions, aimed to standardize bug reporting and streamline triage across the repository. The migration was thoroughly documented for traceability, supporting future reviews and maintainability. No user-facing features or bug fixes were delivered, as the work centered on backend workflow enhancements and open source process alignment.
