Worked on enhancing observability and testing for the zepben/ewb-sdk-jvm Java SDK by upgrading the Maven super-pom to version 0.46.2. This update integrated the opentelemetry-sdk-testing library, enabling improved instrumentation and standardized test coverage. The approach focused on dependency management using Maven and XML, ensuring that downstream users benefit from faster issue detection and more reliable production debugging. The work was delivered as a single feature tracked under DEV-7802, with no bugs fixed during the period. The changes strengthened the SDK’s reliability and maintainability by embedding modern software testing practices directly into the project’s build process.
