Worked on governance and access control improvements for the Kubernetes CSI organization, focusing on the kubernetes/org repository. Delivered an update to the external-snapshot-metadata release access controls by synchronizing team memberships between external-snapshot-metadata-admins and external-snapshot-metadata-maintainers, ensuring permissions aligned with the repository’s OWNERS file. This change allowed the correct individuals to create release branches and tag releases, enhancing traceability and governance for release workflows. The work involved repository management and DevOps practices, utilizing YAML for configuration updates. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the focus remained on refining access control and aligning team permissions with project governance.
