During this period, contributed to the iree-org/iree-turbine repository by implementing AMD Radeon RDNA3 device support within the IREE Torch mapping. This work involved expanding the existing device mapping table using Python, enabling the framework to recognize and utilize RDNA3 GPUs for Torch workloads. The technical approach focused on enhancing hardware compatibility, allowing broader adoption of IREE for AMD GPU users. The contribution followed established software development practices, including a signed-off commit to ensure code traceability and quality. No bug fixes were recorded, with efforts concentrated on feature development and device mapping to strengthen IREE’s hardware support strategy.
