Worked on the grafana/k6 repository to deliver shared iterations support via the --vus flag, enabling more flexible execution configurations for performance testing scenarios. The approach involved implementing backend logic in Go to allow bare --vus usage as shared-iterations and to handle override scenarios, while maintaining backward compatibility. Expanded the automated test suite to validate shared-iterations behavior across multiple configurations, ensuring robust and reliable feature delivery. Added user-facing safeguards by introducing warnings when the --vus flag overrides existing scenario settings, helping prevent misconfiguration. Focused on backend development and testing, the work improved test reliability, configurability, and resource utilization for users.
