Developed device filtering enhancements for the ohcnetwork/care repository, focusing on backend improvements to support more precise device data queries. The work introduced two new filters—current_location and registered_name—within the DeviceFilters class, enabling targeted retrieval of device records by geographic location and device name. Implemented using Python and Django, the changes were delivered with a clear, focused commit and maintained alignment with the existing filtering framework. This API development effort improved operational visibility and prepared the system for integration with dashboards and analytics pipelines. The design emphasized extensibility and clean code, supporting future enhancements and maintainability within the backend architecture.
