Robert Schikora enhanced build automation for the Xyna-Factory/xyna-factory repository by integrating build scripts for the xynautils-soap and xynautils-xml modules. He used Shell scripting and Maven to embed these modules into the main xynautils build process, ensuring automatic compilation, reliable dependency resolution, and streamlined deployment.
