During November 2024, R. Michels focused on enhancing the Anxcye/flutter_tts repository by refactoring the Flutter web text-to-speech implementation to adopt new interop types and improve onProgress event handling. Using Dart and Flutter, Michels migrated flutter_tts_web.dart to ensure type consistency and accurate argument passing for channel method calls, which improved maintainability and code clarity. Alongside these technical updates, Michels revised the Markdown documentation to clarify web TTS support, speech marks requirements, and platform limitations. This work streamlined onboarding for developers and reduced future maintenance costs, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to both code quality and developer experience.
