Worked on security remediation and dependency management for the umbraco/Umbraco-CMS repository, focusing on mitigating vulnerabilities in image processing dependencies. Addressed CVE-2025-27598 by upgrading ImageSharp to version 3.1.7 across core packages and implementing a targeted override in the ImageSharp2 project to ensure consistent protection. Utilized C# and XML to manage dependency updates and maintain compatibility within the codebase. Emphasized traceability by providing clear commit messages and preparing changes for review and release. The work centered on security patching and dependency management, resulting in improved security posture without introducing new features, and ensured robust vulnerability mitigation for the project.
