Developed and delivered a feature for the equinor/ert repository that introduced Active Sub-Tab Persistence within the Manage Experiments panel, addressing workflow continuity for users working with multiple ensembles. The implementation ensured that the selected sub-tab remained consistent when switching between ensembles, reducing navigation friction and supporting more efficient multi-ensemble experimentation and comparison. This work involved Python for backend logic, UI development to manage state across panel transitions, and thorough testing to validate the persistence functionality. The contribution focused on enhancing user experience by maintaining interface context, and all changes were committed with traceability to support maintainable and collaborative development practices.
