During November 2024, contributed to the statisticsnorway/dapla-lab-helm-charts-experimental repository by stabilizing the Helm-based release workflow and enhancing deployment security. Focused on configuration management and DevOps practices, the work involved bumping Helm chart versions, updating library dependencies, and executing a controlled revert to address a release-critical chart error. Direct JSON schema exposure was removed from dapla-lab, simplifying dependencies and strengthening security for deployments. Additionally, testing processes for jupyter-rpk were improved to bolster CI quality gates and reliability, with all changes implemented using YAML and Helm. The work emphasized robust release management and secure, maintainable infrastructure for data lab components.
