Addressed a critical issue in the user settings notification switch by updating the Switch component import to use a local version from the forms directory, which reduced reliance on external dependencies and improved maintainability. Resolved a bug affecting the reliability of the notification switch, ensuring more predictable behavior for end users. Demonstrated proficiency in React and front end development, utilizing both JavaScript and TypeScript to deliver robust, traceable changes. The work emphasized component consolidation and streamlined UI logic for future scalability.
