Worked on enhancing accessibility and user experience in the OneCommunityGlobal/HighestGoodNetworkApp by delivering a focused improvement to modal search functionality. Replaced the previous autoFocus approach with a controlled ref-based focus system for the modal search input, ensuring consistent and reliable focus behavior whenever the modal opens. This adjustment improved keyboard navigation and accessibility across devices and browsers, particularly benefiting the AssignTeam flow. The work was implemented using React and JavaScript, with an emphasis on front end development best practices. No bugs were fixed during this period, as the primary focus was on delivering this targeted feature enhancement for modal usability.
