Developed and delivered the Avatario Animated Avatars Plugin for the livekit/agents repository, enabling animated avatars to accompany voice-based agent interactions and enhance user engagement. The work involved integrating Avatario’s avatar rendering capabilities into LiveKit agents using Python, focusing on plugin architecture and real-time communication. This feature allowed agents to present more dynamic personas, supporting branding and user experience goals. The implementation was a collaborative effort, as reflected in the co-authored commit, and demonstrated proficiency in API integration and full stack development. No major bugs were recorded during the period, indicating a stable and well-executed feature release.
