Worked on stabilizing the code generation workflow for the eProsima/Fast-DDS-Gen repository by addressing a critical issue in the XTypesTypeObjectSource template. Focused on correcting a typo in the applied_verbatim_annotation section, this fix ensured that built-in type annotations were accurately generated, directly improving the reliability of TypeObject sources for XTypes. The work involved careful modification of template engine logic using Java, with an emphasis on reducing downstream debugging for users relying on automated code generation. This targeted bug fix enhanced the stability of the codebase and contributed to a smoother developer experience for those integrating XTypes functionality.
