During April 2025, work focused on the google/fonts repository, delivering a comprehensive font branding update by renaming 42dotSans to AstaSans throughout metadata, font files, and documentation. This effort utilized configuration management and file renaming skills to ensure branding consistency while maintaining the original design specifications and font metrics. The update improved repository hygiene and searchability, supporting future branding changes without altering technical parameters or rendering behavior. HTML and protobuf were used where applicable to manage assets and documentation. The work was completed in a single, well-scoped commit, minimizing review overhead and ensuring a smooth, low-risk rollout for maintainers.
