Worked on improving scheduling reliability within the frappe/erpnext repository by addressing a bug in the JobCard scheduling overlap detection logic. Focused on backend development using Python, the contribution involved refining the method responsible for identifying overlapping job cards to prevent resource misallocation and scheduling conflicts. Collaborated closely with peers through code review and clear documentation, ensuring the solution aligned with existing project standards. The work enhanced the accuracy of ERP system workflows, reducing manual intervention in timing-sensitive processes. Although no new features were added during this period, the targeted bug fix contributed to more robust and dependable scheduling functionality.
