Worked on the adobe-experience-league/exlm repository to enhance the security and reliability of the Upcoming Events Filters feature. Addressed a cross-site scripting vulnerability by sanitizing the filters URL parameter, ensuring only safe input is processed. Expanded the set of allowed characters to include uppercase letters and dots, improving flexibility while maintaining security. Applied Prettier-based code formatting to standardize JavaScript scripts and improve maintainability. Focused on robust input handling to reduce edge-case failures and aligned changes with project documentation standards. Utilized skills in JavaScript, front end development, and security to deliver targeted improvements that prepare the codebase for future enhancements.
