Worked on enhancing the spring-projects/spring-pulsar repository by refactoring the DefaultPulsarConsumerErrorHandler test suite to improve error handling verification for Pulsar message consumption. Focused on reducing duplication and clarifying test expectations, the work emphasized maintainability and readability, making future changes safer and more efficient. Leveraged Java and Mockito to streamline unit testing, ensuring that error pathways are robustly validated. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the targeted improvements to test coverage and structure enable faster pull request cycles and more reliable feature development. This approach supports ongoing stability and quality in the repository’s error handling components.
