Worked on enhancing time formatting precision within the Symfony/console and Symfony/symfony repositories, focusing on delivering millisecond-level accuracy for duration representations in CLI outputs and logs. Implemented updates to the formatTime helper, ensuring consistent behavior across both the console component and the broader framework. Leveraged PHP for backend development and applied unit testing to validate the new millisecond support, expanding test coverage to guarantee reliability. This work improved the accuracy and consistency of time-related outputs, laying the foundation for more precise analytics and debugging workflows while aligning component and framework semantics for a better developer experience across related projects.
