Zezheng Wu contributed to the xyflow project by delivering two features focused on improving code clarity and maintainability in September 2025. In the xyflow/web repository, Zezheng simplified the useStore selector to return node data directly, removing outdated memoization notes and streamlining data access patterns. For the xyflow/xyflow repository, Zezheng aligned the EdgeProps type with NodeProps, enhancing consistency across edge and node properties. These changes, implemented using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, improved cross-repo consistency and enabled safer refactoring. Zezheng’s work emphasized clear interfaces and predictable state management, supporting faster onboarding and a more maintainable frontend codebase.
