During February 2026, Senasiko focused on improving the facebook/lexical repository by addressing a critical issue in the editor’s history composition tracking. They fixed a bug where the history failed to record characters being composed during text input, which previously led to input glitches and unreliable undo behavior. Senasiko’s solution involved introducing new tags to mark the start and end of composition events, ensuring that the history mechanism accurately captured all character changes as they occurred. This work, implemented using TypeScript and front end development skills, enhanced the reliability of text input and improved the overall user experience in the editor.
