Worked on the ansible/automation-reports repository to establish a comprehensive licensing and security policy framework. Delivered a feature that introduced an Apache-2.0 license file, a documented security response policy, and explicit license declarations within the pyproject.toml configuration. This approach ensured the project met open-source compliance requirements and improved readiness for security incidents and audits. The work involved integrating licensing and security policy documentation using Markdown and TOML, collaborating with legal and security teams, and tracking changes through Git. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts focused on governance, compliance, and laying a foundation for safer downstream adoption.
