Worked on enhancing CI/CD automation and end-to-end testing for the NHSDigital/dtos-devops-templates and NHSDigital/dtos-cohort-manager repositories. Developed Playwright-based test suites to validate participant data processing and amendments, integrating these tests into Azure DevOps pipelines for automated execution. Improved test result visibility by implementing HTML and JUnit/XML reporting, making feedback loops faster and reducing manual QA effort. Leveraged TypeScript and YAML to structure tests and pipeline templates, while using SQL for data validation within test scenarios. The work focused on feature delivery and automation improvements, aiming to increase release velocity and ensure data integrity without separate bug fixes recorded.
