Over a two-month period, contributed to Unicode upgrades and test infrastructure improvements in the Raku/roast and rakudo/rakudo repositories. Focused on enhancing Unicode support by updating collation data, introducing a new grapheme break test generator, and aligning test data with Unicode 17.0.0 standards. Improved testing accuracy and developer experience by refactoring test scripts, adding executable generators, and updating documentation to reflect new script modes. Utilized Perl and Raku for scripting, data generation, and test development, emphasizing standards conformance and reliability. The work enabled faster release readiness and more robust Unicode-related testing signals across core language tooling and test suites.
