Developed and delivered a Conference Announcements Management feature for the stankinUits/uits_portal repository, enabling the portal to reliably display upcoming conference details to users. The work centered on designing a new ConferenceAnnouncement data model, implementing the necessary database migration, and customizing the Django admin interface for streamlined content governance. Leveraging Python, SQL, and Django ORM, the developer focused on robust backend development and database management, ensuring accurate event information and controlled updates. This feature improved event visibility and laid the foundation for future enhancements, with an emphasis on maintainable code and admin tooling rather than bug fixes during the period.
