Worked on the eclipse-pde/eclipse.pde repository to deliver Version Increment Controls for PDE exported packages, focusing on enhancing the release workflow for Eclipse plugin development. Developed new UI buttons that allow users to increment major, minor, and micro version segments directly within the export interface, using Java and leveraging Eclipse Plugin Development and UI Development skills. Implemented robust version management logic to prevent invalid or conflicting version states, addressing a previously uncovered issue in the PDE export process. This feature reduced manual steps in version management, improved release accuracy, and contributed to a more efficient and reliable developer experience for PDE exports.
