Worked on the aws/amazon-ssm-agent repository, focusing on backend development and API design using Go. Delivered two features over two months, first enhancing the documentation and inline comments for MGS message types to improve code maintainability and reduce misinterpretation, which supports safer message handling and accelerates developer onboarding. Later, updated the Greengrass deployment process by refining version comparison logic, enabling support for newer agent versions and improving deployment logging for better traceability and security. Emphasized clear, maintainable code and robust testing practices throughout, addressing operational risks and ensuring that system behavior aligns with usage expectations without introducing new bugs.
