Worked on enhancing Gemini chat models within the quarkiverse/quarkus-langchain4j repository, focusing on improving schema detection and MIME type handling for better flexibility in model input processing. Addressed null JSON schema inputs by implementing null-safety improvements in the SchemaMapper, which reduced potential runtime errors and increased robustness. Added targeted logging and warnings for cases where null schemas were detected during MIME type computation, supporting improved observability and easier issue diagnosis. Utilized Java for backend and API development, consolidating code changes to deliver more reliable schema handling and integration with LangChain4j, while prioritizing maintainability and debuggability throughout the development process.
