During March 2025, contributed to the wp-sms/wp-sms repository by migrating the MatinSMS gateway from a SOAP-based client to a RESTful API, focusing on backend development and API integration using PHP. This work involved refactoring core SMS operations, such as SendSMS and GetCredit, to utilize HTTP requests with JSON responses, which improved both reliability and performance for transactional messaging. The migration also included correcting the gateway endpoint, enhancing error handling, and updating configuration management. Tariff and trial data were revised to align with the new API, ensuring accurate billing and seamless integration within the existing plugin development framework.
