During a two-month period, Chen enhanced the TabbyML/tabby repository by redesigning the token sharing flow in the VS Code extension, focusing on user consent and security. Using TypeScript and VS Code extension APIs, Chen refactored the approval logic, introduced a clear-approved-token command, and improved configuration management to streamline developer experience and reduce maintenance complexity. In the TabbyML/pochi repository, Chen developed a reusable, accessible Footer component in React and Next.js, standardizing legal and brand information across the website. The work demonstrated depth in authentication flow, command handling, and frontend development, resulting in more maintainable, compliant, and user-friendly interfaces.
