Smriti Fn developed S3 Bucket Destination support for Lambda asynchronous event destinations in the mazyu36/aws-cdk repository, expanding the AWS CDK’s integration capabilities. She implemented a new destination type that enables durable and scalable routing of async Lambda events to S3, addressing a key gap in event-driven infrastructure. Her work included writing comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability, as well as updating documentation with clear usage examples and API references. Using TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS CDK, Smriti delivered a well-scoped feature that enhances infrastructure as code workflows, demonstrating depth in both implementation and supporting materials within one month.
