Worked on backend development for the Kilocode repository, focusing on improving the reliability of ACP Namespace default model retrieval. Addressed a bug by refining the logic to bypass parsing of provider-less default models, ensuring that the correct default model ID is returned directly from the fetched data. This targeted update, implemented in TypeScript, enhanced data integrity and reduced downstream errors in ACP workflows. The solution was carefully scoped to the parsing logic, minimizing regression risk and maintaining stability across the codebase. Communicated changes clearly through concise commit messages, demonstrating a methodical approach to backend problem-solving and codebase maintenance.
