Worked on analytics tracking enhancements for the SonalCognizant/wmlocal repository, focusing on improving the capture of user interactions with buttons and CTAs. Addressed issues with button dataLayer initialization to ensure reliable event tracking across different pages, and extended the navigationEvent payload to include additional CTA-related properties for more comprehensive analytics. Utilized JavaScript and front end development skills to update analytics.js, consolidating tracking improvements into a streamlined solution. These changes resulted in higher quality data and deeper visibility into user behavior, providing the foundation for more informed product decisions and supporting ongoing analytics initiatives within the project’s codebase.
