During January 2025, contributed to the okcza515/OOAD2568 repository by establishing foundational features to support future development. Built a Java-based project bootstrap with a starter greeting application, providing a clear entry point and scaffolding for new contributors. Developed the core of a zoo simulation by introducing an abstract Animal class with shared properties and abstract methods, alongside a Zoo class that demonstrates polymorphism through animal movement. Focused on abstraction, object-oriented programming, and basic programming principles, the work emphasized scalable, testable code structure. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on enabling rapid feature expansion and maintainability.
