During January 2025, Tu Le contributed to the kaiachain/kaia repository by implementing systemd integration for RPM-packaged k services. Tu developed and added systemd unit files for multiple service components, including kbnd, kcnd, kend, kpnd, kscnd, ksend, and kspnd, ensuring these services could be reliably managed through systemctl when deployed via RPM. This work, primarily using Shell scripting and leveraging skills in build systems and RPM packaging, improved the deployment process by enabling consistent start, stop, and restart behavior. The integration enhanced service lifecycle management and monitoring, addressing operational needs in RPM-based environments with a focused, maintainable solution.
