Worked on the kaiachain/kaia repository to deliver systemd integration for RPM-packaged k services, focusing on improving deployment reliability and service lifecycle management. Developed and added systemd unit files for multiple k-prefixed services, ensuring they could be properly managed with systemctl commands such as start, stop, and restart. This integration streamlined the deployment process for RPM-based environments, allowing for smoother monitoring and control of services. The work leveraged skills in build systems, RPM packaging, and system administration, with implementation primarily in Shell scripting. The changes addressed operational consistency and maintainability for service management within the RPM packaging workflow.
