Worked on the matteocrippa/ProxmoxVE repository to enhance release engineering and deployment reliability by introducing a stable release installation and update process. The solution shifted deployments from tracking the latest master branch to fetching tagged releases directly from GitHub, utilizing tarballs for improved consistency and rollback capability. This approach addressed the need for predictable and robust deployments in production environments. The work was implemented using Shell scripting, leveraging API integration and system administration skills to automate and streamline the installation workflow. Over the course of the month, the focus remained on feature development, with no bug fixes recorded during this period.
