Worked on enhancing the IRDKWindowManager API within the rdkcentral/entservices-apis repository, focusing on improving application readiness and display rendering for client applications. Developed new API features in C++ to notify when the first frame is ready, report rendering status, and control Wayland display rendering. This approach provided clearer separation between readiness and rendering concerns, enabling more deterministic startup behavior and smoother client experiences. Leveraged skills in API development and interface design to deliver changes that allow downstream applications to monitor first-frame readiness and manage display rendering, ultimately supporting more reliable integration and reducing startup jitter for end users.
