Worked on enhancing cross-platform compatibility for the mbedtls_net_usleep function in both the Mbed-TLS/mbedtls-framework and zephyrproject-rtos/mbedtls repositories. Addressed DJGPP/MS-DOS-specific build and runtime issues by implementing alternate code paths in C, ensuring correct population of tv_usec and handling cases where suseconds_t is unavailable. Updated and synchronized changelogs to document these improvements, reinforcing stability and correctness for embedded systems. Focused on bug fixing and cross-compilation, the work enabled successful builds and reliable sleep behavior on MS-DOS environments, broadening platform support and improving maintainability across both codebases through careful documentation and targeted technical solutions.
