Worked on stabilizing the Pivot Table module in the VisActor/VTable repository, focusing on resolving a bug that affected sorting behavior when dimensions were hidden. Addressed an edge case where hidden indicator nodes were not consistently filtered during sort and filter operations, which previously led to data inconsistencies and potential user confusion. The solution involved targeted TypeScript changes across two commits, emphasizing robust regression handling and code quality. By refining the filtering logic and maintaining correct sort state, the work improved data integrity and reliability in pivot analytics, supporting better decision-making and reducing support overhead for front end data visualization workflows.
