Worked on the viduni94/kibana repository over a two-month period, focusing on accessibility and UI quality improvements. Enhanced the BetaBadge component by adding ARIA attributes and descriptive text, ensuring screen readers accurately announce Beta status in line with WCAG standards. Collaborated with design and QA to validate these changes and support broader accessibility initiatives. Additionally, addressed a UI bug by enabling word wrapping for the Kubernetes survey toast, improving readability and consistency across devices. Utilized React, JavaScript, and CSS to deliver targeted, maintainable solutions that reduced accessibility risks and improved user experience for diverse audiences.
